Award Business

My totally awesome friend and fellow foodie, Melissa Devoe, gave me another blog award. Can you believe it? She spoils me, I tell ya! I truly appreciate it. Joining the blogging world and these baking groups have been a truly rewarding experience and I honestly have her to thank for all of it. After all, she is the one who got me started with everything! You should check out her blog, Love At First Bite! She's got tons of great recipes and her pictures are so cool! I'm trying to learn how to do some of that high-speed photo-shopping myself! So thanks again Melissa!

I only have two peoplethat I want to share this award with. First, I noticed she doesn't already have the award--unlike all other bloggers that I closely follow--and she is one of my favorites! She was actually my Elfster secret santa and I have had an awesome time getting to know her through her fantabulous blog, Superflous. So Sabrina, this one's for you! Second, I want to show some blog lovin' to my dear friend Kim in Pueblo, Colorado, just because her blog, Joshua and Kimberly's Journeys, totally rocks and because she's is one of the greatest, most talented friends I have ever come to know. If you're interested in some gluten-free recipes, you definitely want to add her blog to your list!

Another Award!

You guys, I am so honored! Sarah and Alex of brokenyolks nominated me for the Premio Arte Pico award, my second award for this blog. I didn't even know they'd taken notice of my blog and I'm so touched at their generosity.

This award was created in Uruguay by a fellow blogger who makes dolls exclusively from recycled materials. Her blog can be reached by clicking here. The rules for this award include the following:

As such, I am first and foremost passing this award to Melissa Devoe of Love at First Bite. I feel that she is more worthy than I of the award because, truth be told, I use her recipes all the time. If I wasn't a member of Tuesdays with Dorie (which actually joined because of her), Barefoot Bloggers, or Operation Baking Gals I would only have her borrowed recipes on my blog! My First Blog Award!

I am so flattered you guys! Pamela of Cookies With Boys gave me my first-ever blog award for excellence! I met Pamela when I first joined Operation Baking Gals about a month ago. She has a wonderful blog with great recipes and pictures and sends me encouraging messages almost daily. I truly appreciate her and the award that she's been so kind enough to share with me.

Most of the people that I would like to share this award with already have one (i.e. my great friend, Melissa of Love At First Bite), but I've found a few others whose blogs I browse through on a regular basis (whether they know it or not) and couldn't tell whether they've received the award or not. I want to thank these bloggers for the joy they bring me through their great stories and recipes. Because of all of you, I have something to look forward to each and every day! And if I'm mistaken and you already have this award, well, now you have another one!
